<p>I have friends at both schools who are very happy. You should look at the specific major(s) you’re interested in. Students from both schools have been successful medical school applicants. But the schools have different programs that are strong. I’d say if those are the only two you’re choosing, the main considerations should be cost and culture. Baylor is a rather conservative school, but also has division 1 football team, and a larger student body, which are factors some people like. UTD is a very tech-y school. It would be a fallacy to make the seeping claim that one of these schools is “better” than the other.</p>
