<p>So I changed my major from electrical engineering to geology with UT with the hope of getting in. I've become really interested geology. What do you think my chances of getting in are? Is the geology school easier to get into?

Seems to me that you should be majoring in what you like, not just what you think will get you into a college. With these math scores, I would say you have strong potential to get into any state flagship engineering program.
Your writing and reading suggest the ivied or highly selective schools are not a good fit, but your GPA is decent, so with 4 years of football it appears you are a hard worker.
Do what you love; if it is engineering you will find that there are more options for a good salary with benefits. Geology undergrad would suggest a lower salary, which is why some students assume they will go on to grad school before landing a good job, but if rocks us your passion (like my S) then stay that course.
