UT vs. Ole Miss

I am a high school senior from texas, and I have applied to my top two schools as of now. I applied to the university of texas as well as ole miss, however I have not been able to visit either one of the campuses. I was just hoping for some info on either of these places, I have done tons of research but wanted to hear from real people. Just some pros/cons, how the location is, helpfulness of teachers, ect. I'm pretty much in the dark as far as which school is a better "fit" so the more input the better!

Background info: not extremely wealthy, health/nutrition major, white, planning to rush, from a very small town, good grades

UT is orders of magnitude better than Ole Miss. I know grad students from both schools and the academic level of Ole Miss does not compare to UT outside of a few programs. If you’re from Texas and want a small town environment, why not look into Texas A&M?

I agree with whenhen. I never even honestly seriously considered A & M till they did a presentation for our local Phi Theta Kappa chapter. After that I started seriously looking into Texas A & M. I will be applying to both UT & TAMU come Jan 1st.
