Hi guys! I’m OOS too, very excited to hear back from UVA. I just really wish they would give us a definitive date when it comes… has anyone heard anything?

Expecting decisions earlier when we have more early applications than ever before might not make the most sense. Hang in there, folks.

I am glad to see that the Uva EA decison date is many weeks after the RD app deadline. I hope that admissons would want to get a good idea of the RD pool - at least early info - before finalizing the EA decisions, hence the delay. Boston College’s EA decisons were sent out well before deadline for RD. What if the RD pool looks great but they can’t admit as many because of EA offers? From the school’s perspective, they may lose out on good students.
@jojo99 Pretty sure many of these top schools turn away as many awesome kids as they admit.
