UVA credit for AP Literature

The AP credit chart says if you get a 4 or 5 on the AP English Literature test, you get credit for ENLT 2000T. Does anyone know if this counts towards 3 or the 6 Humanities credits required in CAS? (Or if not, does it count toward any other gen ed requirement?)

Thank you!

it’s a literature class… thus it counts for the literature requirement.

and i mean that exactly as written - my literature requirement was filled by my ap lit class.

Are engineering students also required to take literature classes? If so, can they also get credit with a 4 or 5 on the literature test?

here’s a thread that might help you with your question http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-virginia/632791-dual-enrollment-seas.html
