Uva Decisions!!!!

15 1st, 18 2nd

That's way better than mine: 14, 13, 10, 13

hey any of you acceptees...did your app status change right before you got your letter?

thanks

chris- The fact that you have 4 semesters as opposed to my 2 makes a difference. They may have looked at my HS GPA and test scores because of it only being my first year in college. If that's the case, then I am definitely screwed.

I hope like hell I find out something today. Having to wait until next week would be sheer agony. I'm ready for this to be over with.

15, 14, 15, 18

See, that's good. AND you have a 4.0 (I think).

noodleman, you haven't heard anything yet?

I hate the mailman!!!

wmrocks -

the app status went from your app has been recieved to Note:
Your application status is not available at this time. Regular decision applicants were able to view their decisions from April 1-April 8. Fall transfer applicants will be able to view decisions on May 1. It still says this although I have gotten my letter.

However, I think it changed to this a few weeks ago, so I don't know what that means precisely. Hope this helps.

-Mike

Mike...you're soo lucky...you're getting out of this old settlement...are you def. going to UVA? I checked my mail at the UC...nothing yet...errr..where do you live on campus?...just plain curiosity

wmrocks,

Heh, yeah. I've been waiting 14 months for this moment. Never wanted to go to W&M, and though I love the school itself, that's pretty much all it had to offer me.

Anyway, yeah, I'm definitely going to UVA, will probably send out my acceptance later this week. Keep checking that mail and don't worry too much, first wave is first wave and it doesn't mean anything. I really hope you get in (I know how this school can crush souls, heh heh). Weren't you saying earlier that you were happy with W&M, though, or do I have you confused with someone else?

Anyway, I live in Taliaferro here. And am about to head over to the marketplace for a delicious sandwich.

Best of luck,

Mike

I like how people are nice and how my classes are small...that's pretty much it. No athletics, non-existent social life...err...don't like this school at all...is not a bad school per say...but i'm quite disatisfied with many aspects of it (like housing). Oh...did you do lottery on Saturday? If I get in, I def. want a refund of my money and I'm def. stuck in a Unit so I'm hoping I won't have to go through that. Anyway enjoy your sandwich at the marketplace...I like the chicken wraps form Pangeos better..haha.

Did you say you got your letter in school? did it fit in the little mailbox or did they give you a slip?

Thanks

wmrocks,

I got a letter in my box, in a somewhat oversized envelope. No slip.

I did do lottery and would be living in Unit L next year (bad year for the lottery it seems). But if you are transferring they will definitely refund your deposit.

-Mike

Anyone received their mail yet?

Just got my acceptance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I applied on March 1, so I think it doesn't depend on when do we apply to be in this first wave~

Congrats mikeobe! Maybe it doesn't depend on when you apply, but it looks as if all of you have 4.0's. Makes my 3.65 look pretty weak.

Oh well, guess the first wave has come and gone.

Congratulations mikekobe. Where was your letter sent?

Accepted:

vlmanfredi

theslammer

nahrafsfa

Jenn26

ivymaterial

foster4874

mikekobe

I think he's at NYU.

I'll probably be the only person with a 4.0 to not get in.

I doubt it. There's just so much competition, chris. Lots of people won't make it in. You shouldn't give up yet, with your stats. You'll probably receive something tomorrow or in the 2nd wave. I'm so tired of this waiting, and now that I know I didn't make it in the first wave, I'm making plans to go to Tech. I don't think UVa wants someone of "my" caliber.
