@lowrancc they e-mail you at the address provided on your application. If you got in, the subject line will be Good News
@lowrancc Just check the email that you listed on your application and you should see an email from them, if not you can always call their office.
@backinthehunt I wouldn’t worry about it too much, I’ve heard that W&M is way pickier than UVA

@jwalters1 We’re talking about William and Mary, not UVa. If you’re also talking about W&M, then I’d call them on Monday and ask what’s up. Their admissions office is notorious for being really disorganized.

I give fair warning now that you shouldn’t go to W&M. Unless you enjoy mental health problems and perpetual unhappiness, other than Cheese Shop trips.
I got straight denied from UVa last year and into W&M. I honestly think half of the decisions are just them throwing a dart and a cork board of peoples name and going with that.
Okay my UVA status just got the checkmark. What are the odds i can see my decision before may 1? because i need to let this other school know by May 1 what’s up…
@IdkIdkHelp most likely we will see our decisions before may 1st…everyones thinking it will come out on the 29th of april…hopefully even before that

@uctransfer2016 I don’t have the check yet. In April, I was emailed about a missing transcript. They didn’t get one of my transcripts until the first week of April.
To everyone that got waitlisted/denied by W&M, they seem have a different admissions process than UVA. Specifically I think they are pickier when it comes to grades because on the NoVa guaranteed admissions they have a 3.6 for the required GPA, as opposed to UVA’s 3.4. They also require that you get an A in both ENGL1 and 2, compared to UVA which requires a B or above in those courses. So yea, don’t worry, in the end it does nothing good for you anyway
That eases the tension, but only slightly because I’m terribly worried about my ENG 111. I received a C in it. Ugh. Now im in 112 and have well above a B but I’m worried UVA will look down upon that C in 111 
@LaVolpe, I don’t know then, I could be wrong about them being picky then. Have you met at least one student who enjoyed their time at W&M? I’m really worried that I may have to go there if I don’t get into UVA. My parents would hound me for choosing to stay at Virginia Tech when I have that option.

I am new to the thread. I was just accepted into W&M, but I am hoping to get into the nursing program at UVA. It is very difficult as a transfer student! I just received my check mark on my SIS as well.
