@NjTransfer2016 Yeah, most of us interviewed last week. Without going into detail, I recommend you familiarize yourself with the classes offered, the ICE program and your goals (in detail). I’m sure this is a good sign for you!
It’s kind of amazing to think that you’ll be interviewed on Wednesday and your decision is likely to be ready by Friday.

I have a strong feeling it’s going to be Friday… I think other programs are waiting for McIntire to make their decisions. I’m shocked that they’re interviewing into this week, not sure what this means.

But yeah, it amazes me that they’re still doing interviews. I actually misread the email, I’m scheduled for Thursday but I don’t know how I necessarily feel about it.
Does everyone get interviewed for McIntire?
Is it a possibility they could release on the weekend?? Last year they posted on the blog the night before admissions were released… I would not be able to sleep
Reading this question on the site: “Is an interview required for admission?” makes it seemed like my application was deferred
@NjTransfer2016 No, that’s not the same thing. They do interviews for deferred UVA students, this transfer interview thing is something completely new, they just started this year. No, not everyone gets interviewed. I’m pretty sure it’s a good sign, and I believe it means they’re interested in you.
I would take the opportunity to ask questions about your interviewer’s experience at McIntire, learn as much as you can. Good luck!

@LookingForUVA where are you applying from? And yea I feel you, I think in the end I’ll just have made more friends by going to UVA and UVA is (hopefully) going to be more of what I was expecting out of my college experience.

When you guys go to your SIS page and click the “View Decisions” button that leads you to the “Admissions decisions are not available at this time. Please check back on May 1, 2016,” what does the tab of that page say for you guys?
