@Hokie77 Yes I got accepted into W&M. UVa must have taken my high school grades more seriously. I’m honestly still shocked. Volunteer with team rubicon in disaster areas, combat veteran, foreign advisor and worked in Africa and Eastern Europe applying to the batten school. Instructor for REI and LL Bean. Veteran counselor. My college honors professor who wrote the recommendation said I was in the top one percent of students he has ever taught, coming from an already talented nova area. I see this denial as more of a fluke than indicative of any character or studious shortcomings. Their loss.

@CTUR782 I thought you needed like 54 or 48 something credits to even meet the prerequisites to be considered. I see you mention having 33 though.

Does anyone know if they take in any new information into account for waitlisted applicants? I know they ask for second semester grades, but what about other information such as internships?

@darkhound173 I was applying as a Sophomore though so as of now I’m only a freshman. I met all their requirements for first year along with a good GPA but that wasn’t enough apparently.
Also, I havent used facebook since forever, but lets start a group chat for all the external transfers into Mcintire! This way we could help each other out with all our transferring in pains. PM me if you want to be included

If I have a 3.3 second semester due to anxiety and my grandma passing away, should I let them know through a letter or do they not want any additional info? I don’t want my chances completely ruined by this
