UVA Housing 2012

I would disagree about Brown, but our disagreement would just be on the definition of a double. Each person has their own room. That is not a double to me. Yes, the rooms are connected by a common doorway.

As for Hereford, I did not know they changed it around. Back in my day the first years lived in all buildings but in the double rooms.

For the Hereford buildlings that aren't first years only, the first years usually get put in doubles. I lived in Malone last year, I was pretty bummed when I got my housing assignment, but it turned out to be a really nice place. It has a nice courtyard with hammocks and benches, and you have a field as well. And there's a dining hall close by (Runk). Also, now there's a bus that goes up to Hereford every 20 minutes which proved to be really convenient. It didn't use to be that way up until after spring break, which really sucked, because the Gooch/Dillard steps going down to the bus stop are just horrible. And a lot of us walked to and from class. It takes about fifteen minutes, twenty at most.

Ok, to sum it up, Hereford's really not that bad. Living in a single sucks sometimes (I got randomly assigned to one), but it has its perks. And your neighbors live in singles too, so you get to bond with them.
