UVA or NYU?

I got in to the Liberal Studies Program at Nyu (freshman year in Paris) and trying to decide between Uva-liberal arts.
Which school has a better reputation? (disregard the tuition)
Campus, social life, academics..
Any info would be much appreciated, thanks!

UVA for sure.

based on academics or social life…?

If you want a true collegiate experience, great liberal arts education, prestige, and a beautiful campus, then UVA is an easy choice for your undergraduate university over NYU.

Overall academics aren’t significantly different at one or the other. Regarding campuses, it’s one of the most beautiful campuses in the country (UVa) vs. no actual campus at all. Social life would depend on how much you like big-city life and big-city people vs. more of a small city atmosphere.

Honestly, go visit both. One of the schools should immediately stick out to you and one shouldn’t; after all, they’re completely different collegiate experiences.

The only reason to pick NYU over UVA for liberal arts would be the allure of Greenwich Village.

Definitely UVA.

UVA hands down

I think it depends on what experience you’re looking for. I PERSONALLY would pick NYU because I prefer big cities and would take tons of opportunities over the stereotypical college experience, but most people wouldn’t.

UVA without a doubt
