Besides that, those schools are quite different in terms of politics and location.
Also money is an issue...which school gave you more money?</p>
<p>The schools are so different this is more a social than academic issue. Go for the best fit. Either place offers sound academics.</p>
<p>consider the size (UVA smaller), the location (city vs. not city), the people (UVA tends to be more preppy, republican, etc. whereas NYU is more liberal, has more diversity, etc.) and choose the one where you would feel more comfortable</p>

<p>NYU does not really have a campus, so it doesn't have that college feel, while UVA does.</p>
