UVA vs. GMU - Computer Science

I have no idea which one I want to attend.. Please help me decide. There are so many factors jumping in my head right now and I'm just going to spill them out in order of importance..

-- I can't figure out which one has a better computer science program. Even though UVA is a higher accredited school.. GMU keeps pulling me back with its improving CS program..

--GMU is a lot cheaper, I got into it's Honor's program, and they're giving me $16,000 to come.. I don't hear anything from UVA until April 1st about my financial package (and it's making me very anxious..)

--GMU is 40 minutes away from my house. My parents want me to commute, but I want to live on campus, which is kind of why I want to go to UVA. I'm strongly thinking about dorming at GMU despite it being so close..

--Do not get me wrong on this factor.. but I feel like UVA is an overall better school. I would honestly rather come from UVA rather than GMU.. I don't know why this keeps flying through my head..

--This should not be a factor but my best friend is going to UVA.. lol.

UVA is the better overall school but $16k is a crapload of money. Computer science isn’t great at UVA but graduates do get offers because it is in fact UVA. GMU has a solid program and is located near the Silicon Valley of the East Coast. Internships are bountiful. This answer would be really easy but since your best friend is going to UVA it’s a hard toss up. Less debt or be with your friend at UVA.
