Hello, I recently got accepted to some colleges and I am having a serious contemplation in choosing between UVA (I am an international so don't qualify for FA and my school isn't part of Jefferson Scholars Program) and Tulane (Honors and $25,000 annual scholarship) or Northeastern (University Scholars and full-tuituion coverage). UVA is my top choice so far but scholarship and Honors program in the other two are quite tempting as well. What would you choose?

well what do you value most in a college? prestige/size/location/greek life/rigor? what’s your major?

what can your parents easily afford? full tuition at Northeastern is sweet, leaving you with 15K. 25K at tulane leaves you with 36K. If money is an issue, you can get a terrific education in a great college town for relatively little money by going to Northeastern.

NoMeatAthlete/ I am considering majoring in politics (international affairs likely) and I do consider prestige to be an important quality. Yet paying UVA oos tuition is a pretty big money and I am wondering whether UVA will be worth the big investment in comparison to other options I have so far.

As an international student, would you be able to take advantage of NEU’s co-op program, in terms of being paid to work? That would be one thing to consider since a lot of the reason kids choose NEU is because of the co-op program.
