UVA vs USC vs Georgetown

I’ve recently been admitted to all three of these schools and am struggling to come to a decision. I know I want to do something in business and preferably investment banking, although that’s somewhat malleable as I’ve heard horror stories about the banking industry.

I know I want to work in NYC after college, so and I’ve heard that UVA and Georgetown (especially) have great placement on the east coast and in NYC. However, I grew up in the DMV and have been around Georgetown and UVA all my life and kind of want to try something new and move out to Cali. I absolutely adore USC for its tremendous academics, location, athletics, and social life, but I’m worried that I won’t be able to find a job in NYC afterwards because only west coast banks recruit from there. Additionally, I selected Econ as my major at USC, which isn’t in the Marshall business school, and now I’m wondering if I should have applied to Marshall. I’m worried that if I apply as a freshman and don’t get accepted into Marshall I’ll be screwed.

I also have yet to hear back from Michigan Ross which I hear does extremely well in the industry.

Can someone help give me a sense of direction or advice from your own experiences?

If NYC is where you want to work after college, that area is probably where you need to go. I was on the USC campus for the first time recently and it is a nice place with lots going on in every direction. USC had that vibe that it would be an absolute blast attending school there.
