I was wondering that whether submitting my final report would be kind of necessary in the process. Or in other words, if I did not submit it, would I be placed in a less prior position in the whole waiting list? Thank you for responding to this!
I was wondering the same thing because my school is not finalizing our transcripts until the first week of June…
My counselor said that most schools have not prepared their students’ final transcripts yet, so it’s not a severe issue, though he said to submit it as early as possible is still better if my grades are not bad.

Still not hearing that any offers are being made. At all. Anywhere. BUT there also hasn’t been anything posted from UVA stating the Class of 2024 is closed, so not sure how to interpret this.
The summer melt that Dean J referred to in her last post hasn’t even happened yet. Also, this is purely speculative, but I’ve been listening to other universities talk about how Covid 19 will affect THIS years admissions and they all bring up points like: international student enrollment is down (a lot of universities spend on these kids to pay full tuition), people are opting to stay closer to home, some deferring for a year and going to community college, some decided to not go to college at all, others cant afford to go due to their finances(parents or guardian were laid off/furloughed), and people are ultimately waiting to hear how their prospective university will continue to function in the upcoming fall semester (I would imagine that this could influence a student to take a waitlist offer elsewhere). Since they’re so many factors at play this year I would be very surprised if the class was already completed.
Offers also stopped around the time that the continued interest waitlist form was sent out. Admissions might be taking a step back and waiting for people to reply before they start another wave.

Yeah, it is. I’m constantly checking this forum and reddit for any news.
The wait is so hard!! Constantly checking here, emails, etc!!! Hopefully next week will being good news!!!

No updates on waitlist for the past two weeks. Not a good sign at all.
