UVM or Wheaton College MA

Hi everyone! I got into both UVM and Wheaton with really good merit scholarship. While both schools have pros and cons, I would really like to hear someone else’s opinion on which place they would choose between the two?

Hey I got into both UVM and Wheaton and ended up favoring UVM over Wheaton. For me the differences were

  1. UVM gave me more merit aid.
  2. UVM has a larger more active campus, Wheaton felt very small to me.
  3. Burlington is a really nice college town, where as Norton isn’t.
  4. There are more potential opportunities for majors at UVM.
  5. UVM has more facilities due to its size.

However in favor Wheaton

  1. Wheaton has a tight-knit community
  2. Wheaton has smaller class sizes and more faculty involvement

Hi @evk4444 , thank you very much for your reply! I’m an international student from Dubai, so my concerns about UVM are its diversity and harsh cold weather. What do you think about that?
