@FatEmoLesbian what is a Fortnite?

Dang impressive stats! @FatEmoLesbian When did you apply for UW?

I also got accept to UW Seattle for Autumn 2018. My page loaded on Friday with this message, “Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you admission to the Seattle campus of the University of Washington for autumn quarter 2018. Official welcome materials have been mailed to you. You may now choose to accept or decline your offer of admission online”. I don’t seem to understand why someone reported you @FatEmoLesbian. I signed up for orientation this morning on July 16.

@julietjuju3 Well when I talked to an admission’s rep about that, they said it depends. For high school, it’s three years. For CC, it’s three quarters, because one quarter is the equivalent of one high school year. Also, check the psychology major checklist worksheet thing. On it, it specifies approximately how many students are accepted into the major with given GPAS.Like for example, a gpa between a 3.5 and 4.0 means 27 students will be accepted who fall under that category. The numbers get lower and lower the lower the gpa is.

Q to those who have been accepted at both UWT and UWS: What happens to your unofficial transcript? will it show you as being enrolled at both schools? I’m just wondering if the “trick” works when you’ve been accepted at multiple campuses.

The college of arts and sciences requires a 3 quarter of foreign language. you need 2 to get into you UW but you need the last 3rd year to graduate. If you took 3 years of foreign language in high school you’re good. You can always finish the 3rd year at CC or UW with a 2.5 or better. “A “competitive” cumulative psychology GPA is generally at or above a 3.20 (GPA is for Psych 101, 202 and 209).” Check out the worksheet too like what they said ^^

@octoberblues I was wondering the same thing. I called the admissions office this morning, and she said that the transcript will change from Tacoma to Seattle if you’re accepted.

@skodawgs I took two years of ASL in HS, idk how that will play out because I forgot basically everything I learned so I can’t take ASL 3 which I don’t think they even have at UW. So would I just have to start over with a language or something?

I meant to say if you are planning on taking your third year of Foreign language you have to have at least 2.0. You can always take ASL 103 at UW. This is honestly a stupid requirement…I took 2 years of language in HS and I basically forgot EVERYTHING. http://www.washington.edu/uaa/advising/academic-planning/general-education-requirements/foreign-language/

Still anxiously waiting for Seattle! I applied to foster as well ):
I got into UWT and Milgard with a WSA of 4 so hopefully I’ll be admitted.

My stats:
Cum GPA: 3.99 Pre-App GPA: 4.0 WSA: 4

@FatEmoLesbian did you get accepted into engineering?

@huskygirl77 you will 100% get in !! Your WSA score is great enough, and ur GPA is way above the average.

Hi,
I just found this thread. It’ll be interesting to see stats of students as they report that they’re admitted.

-I’m a WA state CC student
-cumulative college level GPA is 3.98
-Requested major is History

Hey ya’ll - I just checked my application status, and I’m ACCEPTED!

My unofficial transcript still says UWT (as I made an enrollment deposit there already), but my application status says “Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you admission to the Seattle campus of the University of Washington for autumn quarter 2018.”

I’m pinching myself. Ill check back tomorrow morning because it really feels like a dream!

congrats!! what is your major @linnearrr

I will be applying for Law, Societies, and Justice, so I was admitted as a pre-social sciences major.

Ahhhhh congrats! @linnearrr
