So I was admitted to UW as a Pre-Science and wondered how the admissions process is to get into the CSE department as a CS major. I looked at the prereqs and it said to take Math 124, 125, and 126 but would the CSE department rather see you take Math 134, 135, and 136 and how difficult is the Math 134 series? If I did Math 134, 135, and 136 would I have to take Math 307 and 308 since it says it covers them in the classes? Also if I got a 5 on the Calc AB AP exam what math 134 series course could I skip?

Also how difficult is it to get into the CSE department as a CS major in terms of gpa, ec's, etc?

Lastly, I was wondering if any past CS grads or CS admits had any tips on getting into UW as a CS major.

Thank you who ever answers this, I know I had a lot of questions.
