Hi there!

I’ve got a question about UW Lync/Skype for Business account. Does it allow UW students to contact people outside UW (friends, for example)?

I do not know about the Students, but I had a friend that worked at UW in their IT department and her I and I could chat together via Lync when I was working at Microsoft.

Was your Lync account provided by Microsoft?

Yes, I was an employee of Microsoft at the time.
