Hi, I decided late that I am going to apply to UW Madison. I know the deadline is November 2nd, would they accept an application November 1st? I already sent them my recommendation letters and transcripts. I only need to finish the application now.
The application deadline is NOT in November- it is early February. The November deadline date is only to receive notice of a decision earlier- which could be postponed until spring when all applications are in and evaluated. It is rolling admissions so you could get an admit/deny/postpone decision anytime after they have a chance to evaluate your application. Could take awhile since there are thousands applying at once.
If the deadline for the first notification period is Nov. 2, then of course UW will accept an application submitted on Nov. 1.
