Hi, I'm halfway through my junior year and wanted to see how my chances are for getting into UW-Madison. My intended major is Finance, Investment & Banking. I know that you don't apply for the business school until sophomore year so this is more of a general admissions thread.

GPA:
-Unweighted: 3.2
-Weighted: 3.72
I started with really poor grades during the first semester of freshman year then transferred to another school and both GPAs have been increasing each semester.

Test Scores:
-ACT: 31 Composite
32 English
34 Math
31 Reading
27 Science
-PSAT: 206 Composite
62 Verbal
80 Math
64 Writing
I haven't taken the SAT yet so the PSAT scores are just to give you an idea. Also I'm retaking the ACT in Spring and expect an improvement in Math & Science.

Extracurriculars:
-Math Team
-Gymnastics Team
There are some more but these are the main two.

Awards:
-Award for improved GPA

Misc.:

-No AP classes yet.
-The school I go to is a public school.
-No part-time job (yet).

Other colleges I'm thinking about are University of Illinois, University of Indiana, NYU, Notre Dame & Columbia (reach school). If anybody knows of admission requirements of those schools or how I stack up to them the input is greatly appreciated. The intended major for those schools would be finance as well.

Any suggestions on activities or things I could do to improve my chances are welcome. Thanks!
