Last year they released on Sunday January 31, but that was the last day that they promised decisions. I would not expect anything today. I think the best case next Friday, more than likely the 28th-31st.
They also released on Tuesday (December 15th) last year (for early action Wisconsin residents & several other states).
I think this year theyâre going to try to release all at once because last year people were unhappy that some applicants heard over a month earlier than the rest of applicants. Because of that, itâll probably release pretty late.
I was thinking the same thing. But Iâd still be really shocked if they released on the last day. Last year was a shock with the extra applications but this year they have some experience with the high volume. Iâm betting on Tuesday - Friday of this week. Pure speculation - zero inside knowledge. Iâm sure everyone here hopes Iâm right!
Some food for thought, they might want to try and one up Ohio State, who is releasing their second round on FridayâŠ.pure speculation and obviously Iâm grasping at straws but itâs fun to come up with theories and Wisco is super competitive with OSU,âŠ.just sayin m, lol
Anyone on this thread waiting on UMich - just tried to access portal and got this message. Maybe both Wisc and UMich will release in the next couple of days!
Any hope for a decision release this week?
Quite doubtful. Last year it was 1/31 with a smaller release on 12/15 which Wisconsin cut this year.
Does anyone know if there is a âtellâ on the Wisconsin portal, similar to what @ChiTownMom1 posted for UMich, that indicates that decisions may be in the process of being uploaded?
I applied to Syracuse as well as UW Madison, and the portals are the same style, a new box popped up on my Syracuse portal called âUndergraduate Admit Acceptanceâ a couple weeks before the decisions came out. Donât know if theyâre in any way the same for UW but just a thought
When my D20 applied, I didnât see a sign like the Umich portal, but the morning the decision was released her bursar bill was available. Naturally, I keep checking for that now that I have another student waiting to hear. Hope this helps and doesnât cause more confusion!
***But if you clicked on it, it would say âThis resource is unavailable to you right nowâ
@rogerman1 - my daughter too got into Kelley with $36K for four years with a 4.1 weighted GPA. She is waiting on Wisco as well but isnât too optimistic.
No tell, but theyâre definitely gearing up for release in the next two weeks. Daughter just got an e-mail to set up a recovery e-mail for her account to make sure she can access admissions decisionâŠMy best guess is Friday the Jan 28th but hope they surprise us earlier.
you received your syracuse decision already? assuming ED2 since syracuse doesnât have EA?
Just to add to the rumor mill for funâŠlast year the first batch of releases were on a Tuesday evening
One seventh of all days are Tuesdays
Today is a 100 % Tuesday Pretty sad that the college admissions process is turning middle aged adults into tarot card readers . Oh well, this too will be soon over. Hopefully for the better !
Depending on how deeply you got into CC, it make take you a month or two to get off even after all decisions come back.
Yes this is pretty addictive ⊠I hope I can find a new healthier obsession once this process is overâŠGood luck to all the hard working students and their nervous parents !
