I am a senior in high school and I did not apply to Madison because I knew I would not get in (22 ACT and 3.3 gpa)
But I was wondering if could transfer to Madison my second semester of freshman year
I know Madison doesn’t not allow freshman level transfer but if I take max number of credits, summer school and the credits from high school I would have more than 30 credits… Would that work?
Would I even get in if they did allow that or would they still base my acceptance off my high school gpa and ACT
Good question. If I were you I’d email the admissions office.
You need 24 college credits to transfer. Check with Admissions (via email) to see if your school will give you credits for any AP classes and if those would count. A stellar senior year followed by stellar college grades would be helpful.
