Hey guys, I am an international student and I’ve been admitted to computer engineering in both uw-madison and penn state. The cost of attendance in uw is around 8-9k(50-54k in total) more than penn state, so is it worth the extra money? Also i hear that uw is a top party school(which i’m totally not into) and less vibrant than penn state. Is it difficult to find internships and stuff in uw compared to penn state as wisconsin is not close to any tech hubs?
Penn State is also known as a party school. I’m sure you will be able to find a non-party group at either school, though.
Both great schools. Cannot go wrong. Both have plenty of parties, but not required to have a good experience. Both will have similar recruitment opportunities. You can’t lose.
