I have been admitted into both UW and UIUC and I picked UW. However UCSB which is on my waitlist offered me a place.

I applied as a CA resident but im basically international since I went to a boarding school in California. I really have difficultly choosing, UW seems to have better prestige, and I have heard UW has great professors, while UCSB is also a wonderful university. Both places have great weather. (Im indifferent to the rain in seattle)

I probably would major in business, but my options are open.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thank you

For business you should’ve chosen UIUC… But for now, I think you should stick with UDub.

UDub is Washington. UW is Madison

UW can be both Washington and Wisconsin, a lot of my friends have said U Washington is better. But some people online have said UCSB is better…

Are you referring to Washington or Wisconsin?

Here’s my input if you are referring to the University of Washington:

I have visited both campuses (UCSB and UDUB) and they are both nice. It just depends if you want to go to school in a big city or in a large town along the beach. But if you are going to major in business, you should go to U-DUB. The Foster School of Business is currently ranked something like 22nd in the nation and I’m sure that there are plenty of internships in Seattle with all the large corporations located there. Also, construction is underway to build a completely brand new and state of the art building to house the Foster School of Business. When I took my visit to UDUB, my tour guide said that this should help Foster move up in the rankings to around 15th-17th in the nation. Also, UCSB doesn’t even have a business school, just an economics major.

Didnt u guys see he mentioned Seattle…
