Sorry this is kind of vague, I’m trying to stay anonymous lol
GPA: 3.7
ACT: 30
From the East Coast
ECs:

  • student council
  • political club
  • yearbook
  • NHS/WNHS
  • did a summer program at a college

I’m taking 3 APs and a college course this year, I took 3 APs last year. My low GPA is because of a C I got in honors biology freshman year

I think my essay was really strong which they have said is important to the application process.

How does being from the East Coast affect my chances of being admitted?

I think you have a pretty good chance. I guess now it depends on the essay and other ways in which you present yourself.
