UW Seattle Application

So I’m thinking about transferring to UW Seattle for the upcoming winter quarter.I am going to transfer with an Associate degree in business and was going to apply for the Michael G. Foster’s School of Business program.I was just wondering what my chances would be with my stats?
Cumulative GPA: 3.58
Major GPA: 3.84
ECs: Vice President at CC, 200+ hours community service, I’m doing a business internship this summer, high school basketball team (freshman-junior year) and track team (freshman and sophomore year). (a co-captain for both sports sophomore year), Chess club at CC and part time job.

Other info: (should I add to application essay?)
-African - Male (adopted at age 5 from Ethiopia)
-Youngest of 11 kids with a lot of hardships growing up that
helped me grow into who I am and hope to be.
-Started own landscaping business when I was 12 (still running)
want to use my degree to help others in 3rd world countries less fortunate.

I think you sound like you have a great shot. The only thing I am not sure about is whether they will consider your major GPA or your cumulative GPA. Either way, you have an awesome story & personal reason for wanting to enter into business. And UW is known for their extremely holistic review… meaning they’ll care just as much, if not more, about your EC’s and personal story.
