Just an FYI for everyone, I called the admissions office yesterday about when my acceptance letter would arrive and they said it should come today. I assume they sent out the next batch and that everyone’s letters should be arriving soon if not today! Good luck to all who are still waiting! The wait is almost over, just hang in there.
@decayedsyllables I recall someone who applied to PH but I think ended up just taking a spot with a different program in Bothell but I wasn’t totally clear. It sounds like there are occasions when a student is offered a spot with a major and then does not gain general admission. I have heard of one occasion of this. My third-hand understanding is that the major offered to hold the spot for up to a year for the student to fulfill whatever missing requirement (or whatever the problem was) to be resolved… As I had some CADR clarifications (really just a misunderstanding over a (very old, as am I) international high school transcript) back in April, I suspect that if I don’t receive general admission it won’t be over requirements. Of course, I’d like to celebrate the news from my major but it won’t be a party until I hear from general… so, still F5 on the unofficial transcript link until then…
@FinallyADawg How did you get them to be specific about when you would hear from them? They were very vague when I called a while back just saying it would come June- July. Let me know what your decision says!
@SeattlePea Hopefully they get back to you soon. We are in the same boat in terms of our F5 keys for sure.

Since I was admitted on UW Tacoma, on the college section, it was UW tacoma but it changed to Art & Sciences!!!
Am I suppose to congrats!!!

hmmm it seems like i am the only one who was dying from waiting game…
the application status was updated! it says “Congratulations! We are pleased to offer you admission to the University of Washington for autumn quarter 2015. A complete packet of information about admission and enrollment is mailed approximately 5 - 10 days from the date your admission status was updated in our data base. Please allow sufficient time for the mail to reach you, especially if you live outside of Washington state.”

@SeattlePea Hmm well it seems crazy to me that someone could get accepted to a competitive major and then not the school unless the issue is CADRs… then again their process is far from streamlined, logical, or in any way efficient. At least you’ve heard something though-- i mean as far as a know, an admissions person’s dog might have eaten my application, and I wouldn’t be any the wiser. So I too am just having a category F5 tornado party up in here in the meantime. < Oh and making up lame wordplays instead of, you know, studying for finals.
@decayedsyllables Hahahaha! That all cracked me up! (I’m also sorry to be laughing, this is such a hard time! Obviously, I hope we all have great outcomes and can relax soon…) Does your myUW thing say that they’ve received your application? Oh, and part of me wishes I hadn’t heard anything at all. I had been content thinking I’d hear by the end of July and it wasn’t until I hear from my major that my obsession began in earnest!

Because you have submitted an application for admission to one or more UW campuses and/or undergraduate programs, some information about your application and other services are now available to you through this MyUW portal.”
Then under, “Check Your Application Information”

The website just updated this morning. I was admitted as a pre-science student to UW Seattle. My transcript had loaded two days ago, so I knew it was just a matter of time. I still haven’t received a letter in the mail, so that is a bit odd.
@Carmine my application status changed today as well. The paragraph does say to wait 5-10 days after your status has changed in their data base to receive a letter. I imagine this mean they will send out a batch of letters soon and in state will recieve letter within the next week or so and out of state may recieve them a little later.
I guess I always expected the letter to arrive at around the same time.
Yay that would be nice 
but from past boards here and talking to friends I think they send a batch out around the 15thish of June and one towards the end of june.

I am so nervous about my application! I havent heard anything…Has anyone who is applying to Fall gotten a rejection letter?
I’m still waiting for my letter but I know of some people who applied for Fall and already gotten their rejection letters.
