I wouldnt expect anything to come out of a call to them. They are likely to just give you a scripted response.
They can’t give an exact response because they don’t know when admissions will be done with the applications. The amount of applications changes every year so they can only give estimates. UW is getting much more popular so I expect that there is more applicants this year. Just keep yourself busy and time will go by quicker. I am sure there will be a batch by the end of next week!

I’m already looking at plan B in the event that it doesn’t work out at UW this round. I’m still pretty confident it will, but having that backup plan is nice.

I did apply to Bothell for fall though. I hear it is a lot easier to get in that school. Is that true?
Bothell is incredibly easier to get into than Seattle. You will still need to meet CADR, have a good GPA, and meet program pre-req’s - but other than that you are almost guaranteed to get in.
It is easier to get in! If you have an average GPA with CADR requirements then I wouldn’t worry about it.
I really don’t want to accept the rejection just yet. They haven’t released acceptances for BA majors so no need to worry. Trying to hope for the best because I am not sure if I am keen about attending another university I was accepted to. I definitely don’t want to do a third year at JC either
If I do not get into this online program. I will just switch my major back to business and deal with taking Business Calc, and Stats in Fall/Winter then transfer to UWB in Spring 2016.

Same. I honestly expect to hear the end of next week so not going to waste so much time checking 25 times a day anymore. Getting finger cramps over this haha
I check literally 30 times a day. I’ll check then two minutes convince myself that maybe something changed in those two minutes so I should check again… Save me UW!!!
On another note are all of yall applying for a Bachelor of Arts? Because that could mean that UW is just waiting to send all the BA majors’ decision letters late
Usually when I check, it’s like kind of an autopilot thing on my phone, and sometimes I when I absentmindedly click, a different page loads up and I’m like WOAH A REAL PAGE IS LOADING and then I realize I accidentally clicked international student services.
I’m not applying for BA, I’m going for a BS. And speaking of BS…this waiting is some bull.
Usually universities have systems. UW goes by colleges. Arts and sciences is split up into two separate waves. Roughly seems something similar to this: Foster > Built Environments > Environment > BS students > Public Health (?) > Social Work > BA students > Engineering > second reviews/waitlist (?) > appeals. Information, Education, and second reviews are scattered in there somewhere - this is not an official list though and strictly my own assumption. I’m just basing this off of this year and last years thread. Of course each college overlaps as well because of different requirements and lengths of application. I noticed that there were some people that applied hours before the deadline, but were notified in the beginning of June because they were BS students. BA students are probably toward the end because there are more BA applicants. BA students should find out a couple days before the month ends! I am sure. I would actually be surprised if we were notified in the beginning of next week instead of the end.
You can’t speed up the decision process. So just keep yourself busy instead of refreshing myUW all day. You’ll drive yourself crazy doing that haha
