UW Transfer 2021

Has anyone else heard anything yet? Hoping they begin releasing more decisions soon…

I was looking at last year’s forum. It looks like last May 12th, a Tuesday, a fair amount of people heard back. Let’s hope it’s the same this year!

wish everyone good luck!
I checked the last year’s as well, looks like the CS and Foster usually get in first?
So I applied for communication major and should I anticipate that the decision will release in a latter day?

Does being accepted to your major guarantee acceptance to the college? Sorry if that’s a dumb question lol

I think typically if you are admitted to the major, you are admitted to the school. I guess it is possible to be denied from general admissions but be accepted into the major. I’m not sure what would happen in that case

Has anybody heard anything? I feel like not many decisions have come out yet.

I think barely anyone has been notified.

Strange…I hope that means they will release more at one time.

Does anybody know if there is a waitlist for transfers? I just realized I’ve never heard of it but was curious if there is one.

Just went back and checked to see when I got my “no” last year, it was June 30th. I really don’t want to spend the entire 60 days waiting.

would you mind sharing what your stats were last year? I’m trying to gauge if I have a chance as well.

You probably beat mine, medical issues during community college dragged me down a lot.

Is it really taking this long for decisions to come out this year??

Took much longer before, right?

I feel like more people heard by this time last year, but maybe I’m just being too anxious lol

It’s almost the end of the month now…
Yesterday I went for a job interview downtown and the company is pretty decent. The only concern is: will I stay around Seattle after summer? With such uncertainty, I had to decline the conditional offer because I don’t wanna waste their time and leave the position to someone who can stay there longer. Cuz I felt that it is so wrong if I have to leave after summer without telling them the truth.
I’m a transfer student who has veteran status, and I also got the offer from UW Tacoma but I really don’t wanna go. I also got the offer from Purdue but yet I cannot make the decision because I have the obligation to take care of my family either here in WA or elsewhere.
Right now UW Seattle made to stuck in limbo here. I need a quick yes/no answer from them so that I can apply for the GI bill (used to take 6weeks to process before COVID and I have no clue what now) and start my next move, either stay in WA or move to IN. But I just don’t know what the hell went wrong with them, it’s 5/18/21 now still no info at all. All my other offers came out 6-8 weeks max after they received all materials(Purdue, PSU, MSU, UMN, LMU, etc). Only UW Seattle thinks that they are the unicorn and have to release the decision in a 2 month period.
What is wrong with you??? You really pissed me off.
