<p>My UW unofficial transcript has loaded successfully. It says that my major is Pre-Science. What does that mean? I am hoping for CSE direct admission. So does that mean I wasn't admitted or it just takes more time to be notified?</p>
<p>It takes time for the departments to see who they should directly admit to their programs. So you haven’t been rejected yet.
Once the departments make their decisions on who to admit, they will send you an e-mail saying if you got in or not.</p>
<p>Pre-science simply means that you haven’t gotten into the major yet.</p>
<p>Students usually get admitted into the university as pre-science for the first year. The fact that the transcript as loaded on MyUW signifies that you’re most likely admitted already. However, whether you’ll be admitted to Direct Admissions will not be avaliable until future notice. This info is concluded by me, refering to other threads across the forum regarding this topic.</p>
<p>UW CSE will notify you if and only if you are admitted as direct admit. They will be making their decisions in the next two weeks or so.</p>
