<p>Monday, I received my official acceptance to UW (exciting!). I just checked my unofficial transcript on MyUW today, and although I applied to the CS department, my major is listed as "Pre-science."</p>
<p>According to the DA to CSE webpage:
For most DA students, the enrollment confirmation slip will be updated to show the major as Computer Science or Computer Engineering. For students who have not been selected for DA, the major will be listed as Pre-Major, Pre-Science, Pre-Computer Science, or another pre-major status.</p>
<p>Does this for sure mean I didn't make it into the program? Do any other CS admits to UW have "Computer Science" listed as their major on their unofficial transcript?</p>
<p>Also, I didn't receive any sort of slip in my acceptance letter, so maybe there will be one with the welcome packet...</p>
