<p>@lalalarae, being a hardcore Hardy Boys fan in my early days I never read Nancy Drew and never will. I did like Famous Five and Five Find-Outers and Dog though, but those might be more British.</p>

<p>@lalalarae, Hardy Boys is a little more of a guys thing, not to say that women can’t enjoy it, but more guys like it. I would still suggest it, you might find it a little kiddish, but I still read them from time to time :P</p>

<p>@ripcity14 the applications come out depending on the National Committee. The American app came out in mid October and is due back on January 10th. So if I were you I would just check your National committee occasionally… or every day/hour/minute for it to come out :P</p>

well, In Malaysia, it’s summer all year round, since we’re placed geographically just above the equator in a way it’s nice because you get to go to the beach any time of the year…but sometimes we (my country mates and I) wish we could see snow…then we would really have a “white” Christmas heehee

As for sports, I’m prety sure most schools have teams that compete, but even if they dont there is still a HUGE emphasis on physical activities (because Kurt Hahn founded it- anyone here do outward bound?)
I’m also a swimmer, so I’ve looked into the swimming aspect and the schools all have pools, and from what I can tell they mostly compete with other nearby schools, or just have intraschool competitions
Dont get me starte on Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys. I’m a girl and I loved them both. I LITERALLY read every single book in both of the series when I was in third grade (the older and newer versions)

I was actually just at the Florida State University vs. Syaracuse University game last weekend! (I guess I just assumed you were talking about American Football) but I love the other football (soccer) too!</p>
