<p>Hi,
my sister applied to VA Tech and got in but has a question regarding the residency.
She has lived in Va since middle school but moved to NY and had lived there for the last two years. So she thought she was NY resident. However, i go to a school in VA as an instate student and my dad still pays taxes to VA so i thought my sister would get an instate tuition for Va Tech as well. When she applied, she indicated that she's out of state without knowing about the tax situation.
Is there any way for her to get the in state residency?</p>
