Are there any schools that give valedictorians full tuition or a free ride? I know theres some but does anyone know any more or have a list. Please

I don’t know any that give big scholarships, but there are a few that give small ones.

Usually larger scholarships are based on test scores AND GPA…GPA (Val status) isn’t usually enough.

What are your test scores??

My gpa is like a 98 on a 100 scale and I got a 27 on the act I can afford probably anywhere I want but I don’t want an Ivy League an

So, do you still not need a scholarship? or have your circumstances changed.

There may be some rather unknown schools that would give free tuition for an ACT 27, but if your family will pay for any school, I don’t think you’d want the “free tuition” school.

What is your situation?

Where do you live. CT used to give a tuition scholarship to all Vals…instate.

Washington College in MD once did, I believe. U of Vermont did for in staters.

NY and yeah I cant really afford anywhere now unless I get scholarships so I was just wondering

Are you eligible for TAP? Is your family low income, or can they not afford to help you with college costs for another reason? Can they help you with college costs at all?

Hoping Sybbie sees this post. She is very knowledgable about the NY colleges.

Why is it that you really can’t afford anywhere unless you get a scholarship?

Is it because your family is low income?

Is it because your family are unwilling to pay?

Have you run your numbers through the net price calculators? If yes, what did it say you must pay/

Are you in NYC?

Are you a US citizen/Permanent resident?

you are eligible for tuition and fees at Howard U in DC

if you can raise your ACt 2 points, it would include room. You could use a stafford loan to cover board, get a part time job now, to cover books and misc. fees
