Vanderbilt and Northwestern

Hello,

Today is March 11 and I am still waiting to hear back from Vandy and Northwestern and both their app deadlines were Dec. 15. I would think this would be enough time for them to make a decision by now. Does this long silence mean I have been rejected and should not bother waiting to hear from them anymore?

I'm also waiting to hear from Case Western Reserve which is not as high as the other two but they haven't responded back either.

Yeah, it’s likely not good news. I was waiting on 4 schools two weeks ago. I got rejected by two and asked to do an online interview by a third, so while there is still some hope, the formal interview days have likely passed and they are just making sure they get enough people in their class before sending a rejection letter. If they have already made a decision, you can likely email them and ask and they will send you the formal rejection letter.

Thank You!
