Extra curriculares: Co-founder of SPCA club, 3 year National Spanish Honors Society, member of Model United Nations, founder of Spikeball Club, Varsity wrestling team manager, 4 years of varsity volleyball, 3 years as captain, 4 years of club volleyball, 2 years as captain, lifeguard for 2 years year-round
Essay: Mother is a semi abusive alcoholic, I’ve got a HUGE blended family and I basically raised my 2 little brothers during my junior year (some grade slippage accounted for here)
Alumni preference: upwards of 10 aunts, uncles, and cousins have attended along with my great grandfather.
I know it’s an insane reach for anyone, but it is literally a dream for me. Do I even have a shot? Be honest! No hurt feelings here.
@kgt5979 You’re stats look to be around the range and your essay sounds like it would be compelling and indicative of who you are. You have a solid shot IMO especially if they recruited you for volleyball.

My S got email at 6:22 Pacific. He is a CV scholarship winner, so I thought he won’t get an email because of that.

Does anyone know if the number of digits in the link means anything? I know this was highly discussed in last year’s thread, but I’m not sure if they came to a conclusion…I have 30 digits btw

I’m from NJ, got my email at 6:30 EST which would be 5:30 CST…also I don’t want to read into things too much but in case anyone is trying to speculate over the number of digits given in the email link mine had 29 (hopefully I didn’t miscount/am not giving false info) good luck to everyone! It will all be over soon, which is relieving no matter the outcome!
30 digits here too. I think it was determined that digits do not mean anything. Honestly, we will find out in 19 hours so this speculation is not really necessary.
