I think you have a GREAT chance of being admitted to Vanderbilt, and if so, you don’t need to worry about the other schools. Great test scores, and WOW AP classes, but it all depends on your AP scores. What was your essay about? UVA, VU, and Dartmouth might take economic diversity into consideration. I think you have a good chance at all three schools, and I think Vanderbilt is almost definite. (chance back?)

@oceanblue92 thank you! I appreciate the insight!

I think you have such a solid chance getting binded with Vanderbilt, especially since you’re a legacy. I like how you did career-focused extracurriculars. As long as you write solid essays, I think you should be good for Vanderbilt and UVA. Dartmouth might be a reach, but only because it’s an Ivy.

I agree with JKim, likely you will be binded to Vanderbilt! UVA sounds really likely otherwise.

@jkim853 @hopefulopeful Thanks for the insight! If I applied to Vanderbilt RD, do you still think I’d have a great shot of getting in? Or do you think it’s just because of the ED boost? Thanks!

I think ED gives it a good boost. Tbh, I think it would come down to essays because I think your scores and EC are competitive enough. However, take my opinion with a grain of salt, since I’m not an admissions director hahaha.

@jkim853 Thanks for your advice!!

Solid chance at Vanderbilt ED and UVa (assuming you are in-state). You may want to apply to more than just Dartmouth RD if you don’t get into Vanderbilt.

@allnighter21 Thanks for the help. I was definitely going to apply to more than just Dartmouth RD if I got rejected

I’d guess that you’d get in, but admissions are super unpredictable. Good luck!

Based on your scores, looks like your chances are excellent!
Your sat looks very strong

looks good for vandy not sure about UVA though

Slightly weak scores + GPA for ethnicity, but definitely accept at Vandy. Likely for UVA and Dartmouth is a toss up.

I think your scores and EC’s are pretty solid, so it would come down to your essays. Also, your legacy at Vanderbilt profoundly boosts your chances. Anways, here are my predictions:

Vanderbilt - accept
UVA - accept
Dartmouth - waitlist
