Vanderbilt Mails on March 27th....

Applicants and Friends,

Vanderbilt will mail the rest of our decision letters on Thursday, March 27th.
We have already sent some out. Those include:

*Scholarship Weekend Invitees
*MOSAIC Multicultural Recruitment Weekend Invitees

Not receiving an admission letter for these two weekends DOES NOT mean that you have not or will not be admitted (even if you are from an underrepresented ethnic group).

Furthermore, it DOES NOT indicate you will not receive a scholarship.

International Applicants (those attending institutions overseas) will get an initial decision via email and printed materials via FedEx. Those emails will be sent either Friday or Monday.

Please continue to check our blog at:

We will post frequent updates throughout the week.

Best of luck everyone. We know it's an exciting time.
Brad

Thanks Brad, for clearing up the confusion.

thanks because i was starting to get really confused with the other threads

does the e-mail notification come on the same day (the 27th)?

We usually wait a day or two before sending them to give everyone roughly the same notification time. Expect the email to go out Friday the 28th or Monday the 31st.

Which scholarship weekends? I am pretty sure I did not receive the Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship, but I am eligible for the one for students who worked part-time during the week. Did that one go out early as well?

Thanks for the info! Do you know, roughly, what the acceptance rate is/will be this year?

Wowowowow!!!

no puedo esperar...

¡yo tambien! I'm so excited for decisions... this week is killing me! I can't wait for all of my information to come in. I hope I get to visit Nashville with the knowledge I can actually go there! Good luck everybody!

The blog says they started mailing yesterday...
