@somehmonggirl Well maybe thats a good thing, because I’m the only one (as far as I know) that had Parke that was accepted today. He is probably working on yours right now

I had Parke and was accepted today. My application was marked complete December 20th! Applied to Peabody.

At this point it’s impossible to predict, @deterr . We were all awaiting Friday to come and then we get them today. Next wave might be tomorrow? Friday? Wednesday, of next week?
All we can be sure of is that this was the first, but not the last wave.

I’ve been so excited that all I’ve been thinking to myself is “please don’t die within the next few months”.
@AGoodFloridian Fair. fwiw, last year’s waves were released on 4/11 (Monday), 4/15 (Friday, e-mails sent Monday), 4/22 (portal, emails 4/25), 4/29, 5/6, or every Friday after the first wave.
Thus, I would say it would be safe to assume that we could expect portals to get updated this Friday. Although, this year has been a tad different, and they didn’t have 1st wave ready today until Tuesday, so who knows if they’ll hold off until next Monday or Tuesday for the next wave.
Whatever the case, I’m just anxious about my decision!

I am thinking another batch will go out tomorrow. It seems they are releasing very localized groups so I would personally expect there to be a batch tomorrow. If not for sure on Friday.

i’d be super shocked if they did two waves two days in a row but as we have seen, anything can happen. i don’t think a single school/wave has done what it was expected to this year (out of the schools i applied to)

how much of the total acceptances do you think they released today? and will the following waves be acceptances and rejections or is there a pattern?
@AGoodFloridian I’m very interested in immunology and microbiology, so the CDC is a huge bonus for Emory. Also, I’m interested in MD/PhD, and Emory produces more future MD/PhDs and I think may be slightly grade-inflated in comparison to Vanderbilt, so I think the environment and culture overall might be a bit better for my goals.
But I’d also be suuuper excited to be a Commodore, so idk. Pretty sure if I get into Emory the fin aid will be worse and this will be a moot point anyway.
All I know for sure is that today has been a good day.
