Vanderbilt Transfer Thread [Fall 2017]

@deterr Any new financial aid page probably means your previous financial aid application (FAFSA/CSS) was incomplete or inaccurate. The FA office and admissions are separate and admissions are need blind on top of that. I doubt new financial aid documents on your portal signals anything other than you are missing financial aid info.

@deterr Do you have siblings in college?

So if they’re not up at 6 today or midnight tonight (I think they did a Saturday midnight a couple years ago), then the first wave pretty much has to come Monday, right?

@usualhopeful tbh it still doesn’'t HAVE TO. It could be later next week

cryyiinnnngggg waiting is killing me

well, let’s call it a day

Guyyyyy you keep forgetting about the time difference. Its 5 in Nashville. You still have an hour until when you thought decisions would be out.

Does anyone know what Vanderbilt rejection letter look like? I need to prepare myself on Monday

No, people were thinking 6EST, end of the Nashville business day. I think in past years they have come out at around 6;30, though.

Not to rain on the parade, I said this before too, but I highly doubt there will be decisions today

Yeah, really doubt it. I think probably some in Monday, though.

@usualhopeful I could see that

it is definitely monday

wow, I’m wrong 2nd time in a row : (

Vandy probably has a surge in applications this year

Therefore, I am more likely to get rejected.

@ILR2020 I don’t think so, if that was the case then they still could have released the decisions they’ve made (they are on the rolling system after all). I feel like they’re just behind on their work : /

I just called vandy. They said tha first waive will be out may 1

@Mastodon97 I think so too. Lot’s of colleges in general seem slower than usual this year. Northwestern was also behind by a week compared to last year. And Vandy was later with it’s RD notifications.

@HopefullyIGetIn really??? who told you that?
