Ok guys, word from the inside: “Okay I asked she/he said there’s no official “day” it gets released the same way there is with regular students. It’s totally random.”
Last week somebody called and said itd be this week
AND arts and sciences would be able to accept the most transfers, but I think we all already knew this…
I just called
shouldn’t somebody have SOME sort of idea of when they’ll release decisions? why does it seem like absolutely nobody knows
@sixone that makes sense, because more people apply to A & S, and if they didn’t have more room, the acceptance rate would be ridiculously low for A&S…
@inordie Is there a specific number you called?
you have to be careful what you ask, difference between “when should I get my decision” and "when will first waive be:."They said not nessary waives, but first decisions should be out soon. This also indicates that decisions could be more like how U-Michigan does it, for those who applied and know what that is like.
s
@Mastodon97 I called undergrad admission.
@HopefullyIGetIn I asked, “when do you think the first waive of transfer decisions will be released?”
@inordie maybe he misunderstood you or something. He probably was giving you a baseline date to receive decisions. not first decisions(we should stop using the word waives, cause that is now not guaranteed).
I see. Hmm
again, as I said above. first decisions will be soon. not nessarly waves, meaning that decisions could be released randomly throughout proceeding weeks. If this is true, this is exactly how U-M Ann Arbor releases their rolling decisions.(post was in reponse to pre-edited post above)
So does this mean its still possibly today that some of us get decision?
@Mastodon97 you could get your decisions today, or may 15. Nobody really knows at this point. I delt with the same thing waiting for my U-M decision. Put simply, It sucks.

In here, they say it’d start mid-April. Don’t know how credible this would be though lol.
I called just now. The staff commented, “decisions are made on a rolling basis individually starting mid-April … some people may receive their decisions today.”
Anybody who said set date decsions are worse then rolling is out of their mind, lol.
Welp, wish the best to all t’day
So when they say rolling admissions, they mean it individual rolling admissions… What the… hahahah Oh maaan you’re tearing my heart out Vanderbilt!
