@futur3clssof2o2o Usually 3 weeks later.
lets hope for tomorrow, or ill blame you guys for getting my hopes up! lol
I think I’ll be crucified by this group if nothing happens tomorrow hahaha
Yo, I submitted a couple of pieces of my application late so should expect to wait for another month or something?
Has anyone here ever gotten a college decision at work before? If it’s tomorrow at 5:15 I’m going to be surrounded by a bunch of coworkers and customers which will be hella awkward
@huntrontheprowl it depends on how late. Based on last year, I know of applicants who submitted as late as about a week after 3/15 and heard back first wave. I heard of some who had their apps complete a little more than a week before and didn’t hear back till 3rd wave or so (mid-May I think). It’s really anyone’s guess.
@deterr Thanks! I completed it about 2 weeks after so I wont be expecting much until the second and third wave then. Do you know the exact dates or supposed dates by chance?
@huntrontheprowl I think about 3 weeks post-1st wave is the consensus, so assuming 1st wave is today then somewhere around May 8th. However, I wouldn’t count out today just yet, at least until 1st wave hits!
Does anyone know if we’ll receove any form of emails notifying us decision is avaible if it actually comes out in the 1st wave ?
Just called Vanderbilt admissions and they said today is NOT first round transfer decision day
@theriley106 no way omg… why are they doing this to us
Although I am not sure whether they will release the first wave today, I remember that last year, they told us the decisions would not come out until May just 2 hours before the decision came out…
The front desk people haven’t been so reliable in the past. I’m still expecting decisions at 5:15.
Same. All the subtle hints point to today
It would be historically consistent if they released them today
what are the hints tho? I’m just curious.
Ya’ll need to chill out. Decisions will come out when they come out. Stop bothering admissions officers. Just be patient.
I’m expecting 1st wave today until proven wrong - the front desk workers are agents of miscommunication.
@longwaydriver Vandy retains high transfer enrollment because they accept transfers earlier than many schools— a later first wave would screw with that. 1st wave has never been later than this and was this exact Tuesday in 2017. Additionally, we know financial aid has been reviewing transfers based on a letter a CC user received, and someone’s admissions counselor is out of the office until April 17.
I’d bet on t-minus 4 hours or sooner!

EVERYBODY WATCH THIS GEM OF A VIDEO
If we don’t get a decision today, it suggests they got a record number of applicants, which is kinda bad news for those of us on the borderline
