It still is this way, I asked the admissions officers before the deadlines. They notify CV scholarship winners in Late February/Early March.

In 2019, the Cornelius Vanderbilt award notifications were emailed on Friday, March 8th, at around 5:00pm Central time (at least that is when my DD received her email). They also emailed denials. Be sure to check your SPAM folders as that is where some scholarship notifications were ending up (my kid’s ended up in her SPAM folder). There is no interview for the CV, unless something has changed in the past couple of years. DD knew about the scholarship before admissions decisions were released.

Do you know if the Chancellor scholarship is also notified at the same time as CV?

No–I do not know about the Chancellor scholarship. However, if you search threads on Vandy merit scholarships for prior years, you may find others who have posted about when these notifications came out.

Chancellor scholarship comes earlier than CV, sometime in February. My D received it 4 years ago, but don’t remember if it was beginning/mid /end February. She got it in a package by regular mail.

Did everyone who got accepted in the ED rounds get an interview?

What is everyone thinking for EDII?
Eagerly checking emails for the 24 hour notice. I heard last year it was Friday, February 11th so it would make sense for it to come out tomorrow. Did anyone hear anything?

same!! is there any chance it can be tomorrow and we still haven’t heard yet?

I have NO idea! Just want to know a date and time already!

anyone up for some potential (but def not significant) portal astrology?

If you go to Vanderbilt’s ‘Dore for a Day’ link and you login to your portal, click on the session for tomorrow (Friday, Feb. 10) and click again on the second link that pops up above the timing of the event.

Scroll down to “Academic Major of Interest.” What does it say for you in that section?

Also, if you click on any other day after the 13th, what do you see?

access denied after feb10th what about you?
