This type of thing has to be unprecedented right? I don’t think there has been a previous year where the Transfer decisions were released in such a strange way…

If you were waitlisted as a transfer does having applied for financial aid affect your chance of getting off since they are need aware if you are on the waitlist

yes

Is there still a chance to be accepted if you have high financial need and are waitlisted or is it a low chance you think

Hey Guys I was admitted on the first wave back in April and have recently been rejected to a few schools. I was wondering if anyone could give me info on Vanderbilt in terms of College life in Nashville, Pre med courses, The grade deflation, and how prestigious Vanderbilt is ? I have committed but waiting on a few more decisions but want to start looking more into Vanderbilt

Thank you!!!

this year vandy is marked equal with brown both #14 and is very prestigious and recognized very highly, congrats for getting in it’s my dream school! they are known for a top ter medical program, theres a lot to do in nashville but the campus it’s self feels small and safe and is close enough to things to feel like a part of something but not where it’s overwhelming and idk about grade deflation

I would not base your decision to attend Vandy on prestige

I think you still have a great shot at Vandy! Don’t lose hope!

Thank you! I’m honestly down to Penn or UNC for next year. UNC gave me nearly full tuition, so it is really hard to turn down vs. Penn’s 80k a year

Wow! did you not apply for aid for Penn or did they not offer any?
