Vanderbilt vs. Boston College vs. USC

Hey everyone

I would like some input, because I am so confused

I was rejected from Notre Dame, my dream school, so now I must pick somewhere else to go.

I was just like everyone to comment on each school, and which ones you feel is better or worse

just comments... thanks

What are you thinking of majoring in?

right now I'm deciding between Vanderbilt and Boston College. I love both of them and there are pros and cons for each. I'm planning on majoring in biology and wanted to minor in African Studies (I want to study abroad in Tanzania). Vanderbilt doesn't have an African Studies major though, it's geared more towards African Amercian studies which is interesting but not what I'm looking for. However, I absolutely love Vanderbilt and I would commit right away if it wasn't for the minor problem. Boston College has my major and my minor. I love the city and the campus, but I don't know about the weather. I'm not a huge fan of winter. Do any of you have any suggestions? My parents are making me decide by Monday : (

as i said to cami before

Well, if your a guy, maybe you want to take into account vanderbilt has the hottest girls anywhere

Boston College and Notre Dame are similar. I would pick Boston College and the bean town has lots of colleges as well.

Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt for the smaller classes.

Tim, what are the specific characteristics of ND that made it your dream school? After you identify those, it will be easier for you to compare the other schools and figure out which one might suit you best.

For what it's worth, BC might be the most like ND (out the the schools you have named) given its size, general academics, Catholic affiliation, and school spirit.
