<p>I figure my chances at Vanderbilt are very slim, but I was wondering if I had any chance. My SAT is a 2140, but only a 1340 CR+M (660-CR; 680-M; 800-W). I know they consider the whole application, but the majority of their students have at least a 1400 CR+M, correct? I do not have any hooks, and although I do not have my official end of the year GPA yet (we cannot see that until mid-July), I believe it will be between 4.6-4.7 W. Also, would Vanderbilt consider the fact that I plan to be in English major with an 800 W or would that not matter, as most colleges do not really care about the writing score? </p>
