vandy?

hi i was just wondering what all of your opinions are on my chances at getting into vanderbilt early decision..

i have a 90 GPA
we dont have AP classes at my school but i go to a very good, well-respected school and i take the most challenging courses it offers. all of our courses prepare us to take AP exams and do very well on them (aka we are the same difficulty as AP classes my school is just werid and doesn't like to teach the exact AP curriculum)

i have a 1320 sat (but i also got a 700 on writing)

from MY school, the average person accepted to vanderbilt had an 89 gpa and a 1350 sat

i took advanced calculus 1 junior year and am in calculus 2 this year. i have taken the highest level of french all the way through and am now in french 5. i spent four weeks in france this past summer on a study abroad program taking classes in french and art and I got an A in french. i have also taken an extra major in art the past two years (which means my art class meets just as often as my history, math, english, french, and science classes and it takes up my only free period). i took the hard chemistry course last year and im in physics this year.

for extra curriculars besides art i have been ice skating since i was in 4th grade and i am also #2 singles on varsity badminton =).

i did 75 hours of community service at an adult daycare

oh i forgot to mention though that i am a girl and i am from baltimore

Vanderbilt considers the SAT Writing score, so your SAT is effectively 2020.

Above average chance if you let Vanderbilt admissions know that Vandy is your first choice.

haha yes well i applied early decision!
