Varsity Sports Captain Decisions made in midlate December?

<p>So I'm a junior on my school golf team. At my school, only seniors are captains, and there's usually 2 or 3. I'm not being arrogant or anything, but I know for sure that I'm going to be made one of the captains. The problem is though, that since our season is in the second semester, the coach doesn't decide who the captains are until December ish. This year, he made them two days after college apps were sent in. </p>

<p>How do I reconcile this on my college application? I've spent four years in golf, and three years in Varsity golf. I want to have something to show for my hard work and dedication.</p>

<p>im on the same boat… does anyone know what to do? also, if you’ve been a varsity team for three years and definately plan on playing senior year but the season the sport is played is the spring (after college apps are sent in) do you circle 12th grade as well for the sport???</p>

<p>you can always send schools updates of your application with new information. I’m not sure adding designation as a captain would be very impactful … if it is grouped with other updates that probably would be even better.</p>
